Sep 2024. This is a hidden gem, entrance is actually on the footbridge. Excellent quality big breakfast. Coffee was also up to the mark. The only thing is the cafe is a bit small so squishy squashy. Tip- if you have kids you can go their drawing corner , colouring books and pencils placed for their enjoyment.

Great little tucked-away coffee and food shop. Had a wonderful cup of coffee and an excellent fresh made club sandwich.

Came into the Cafe the night before to see what we could have for breakfast. On the menu there were no GF options however, after speaking to the owner he offered to go and buy some for me to have for breakfast the next morning. Coming in the next morning he had GF bread and the food and coffee was incredible. He was so polite and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Atmosphere was amazing! It was nice and quiet, and an enjoyable place if you have some time to chill or want to unwind. The food was really good, and they were very accommodating with a few changes to make my kids happy. Single person operation, not the kind of place to come if you are in a rush.

Came in looking for a quiet place to sit and relax in for a while. Got what I wanted and more; the coffee is great, presented well, and the food was awesome. I ordered a club sandwhich and it was delicious. Atmosphere was great! It was nice and quiet, with pleasant music in the background. The guy running the place does everything by himself, so if it's a little busy there might be a wait. He's a legend though.

We love the food, the chill and peaceful vibe of this cafe. We had breakfast here most days of our stay in Sydney. You have to be a little patient waiting for the food because the owner prepares the food by himself. Highly recommended.

My family and I came to the Canvas Cafe while staying at the adjacent hotel, trying to look for somewhere to eat. This is a must visit place with beautiful food, atmosphere and our service was beyond anything we expected. Upon checkout, we had to try breakfast before leaving for our cruise. The quality of service that our chef and host (same person!) gave us was outstanding. Even when serving multiple families, he kept a chipper, smiling demeanour and always made us feel at home. Thank you - will be coming back here soon!
